FOKUS IMMERSIVE is a digital ballet project exploring choreographic mutation, inspired by genetic mutation. Just as mutations transform living organisms, the project investigates how movement can evolve and generate new choreographic forms through digital technologies.

Created by Belgian choreographer and transmedia artist Emmanuel Di Martino / OKUS LAB, it brings together dance, science and immersive technologies through virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR).

This presentation focuses on the AR prototype, developed in collaboration with developer Anthony Bayet and demonstrated on Android devices. By integrating digital choreography into the viewer’s physical environment, FOKUS IMMERSIVE explores new ways of experiencing dance beyond the stage.

Currently in development, the project aims to expand the boundaries of choreography through immersive experiences, connecting biological transformation, artistic creation and technological innovation.

OKUS LAB is a Belgian creative studio founded by choreographer and transmedia visual artist Emmanuel Di Martino, exploring the intersection of dance, light, visual arts and immersive technologies. Through projects such as OKUS PENDULUM, OKUS PAPYRUS and FOKUS Immersive, the studio develops hybrid experiences that connect the human body, light, moving images and space. Blending live performance, digital scenography, video mapping and extended reality (VR/AR), OKUS LAB creates new ways of experiencing movement, perception and visual storytelling. Its work is designed to engage with performing arts, museums, heritage spaces and innovative cultural environments, opening up new possibilities for artistic expression and collaboration across disciplines.

At DeepMedia, we built our own brain: Hermes. He thinks like you.
Hermes is not the writer. It is DeepMedia’s cognitive layer: it remembers the lessons learned with a customer, thinks before generating content, can block outputs that violate its guardrails, and injects his cognitive brief into the generation process. The more you publish, the more it learns.
Same AI model. Different judgment. Because the memory and reasoning are shaped by the client’s own experience and editorial standards.
Most AI tools forget everything as soon as the conversation ends.
They start from scratch with every new piece of content.
Hermes, on the other hand, builds an institutional editorial memory: past feedback, lessons learned, daily briefings, and bias signals.
Whenever new content is requested, that memory comes back into play — like an experienced editor saying: “We've seen this trap before. Watch out.”
The result? Fewer repeated mistakes, greater consistency over time, and AI-generated content that is no longer just generally intelligent, but informed by the organization's own experience.
